Default Summoning Ideas

I have been reading through many vast arrays of ideas for summoning, many of which i have shot down to the ground for being unbalanced and abusing. I am trying to think of a way that everyone can agree on and that actually makes logical sense as well as maintaining the mechanics of the game.

Feel free to post any pros or cons for the ideas below:

Ideas so far:
1. For each summon you have on the field, you have -1 energy degeneration.

Pros: Makes a good idea for an ele or mesmer with energy storage or inspiration to use for a tank while maintaining their energy.

Cons: Blessed Signet

2. While you have summons on the field, every time they take damage, 1/2 of that damage is sent to the master as chaos damage. These summons would only have 1/2 the health of minions.

Pros: An army would kill the master in a very short amount of time. Chaos damage hits through protective spirit. Dark Bond only works on minions

Cons: name some?

Ok any other ideas that arent amazingly stupid i will accept

I've been trying to work on a different type of summoning class myself to sort of counter the MM build, but also a counter to some other ones as well. Good ideas though.

Are you suggesting that for any class there could be a summoning ability? Or did I misread that?
